The alleged flag of the Uyghur Empire was a saffron-coloured bunting with the image of two heads in the centre. Nothing is known about this. The saffron-coloured bunting could be a reference to Buddhism, the original religion of the Uyghurs, to which the Yughurs in West Turkestan still adhere.
